All I heard was the Church authorities to use the words "in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit" as the only words baptism. As I searched the entire New Testament, there is no example of someone who uses this particular phrase.
The financial statements only I could find in the New Testament says that only baptized in the name of Yeshua (Jesus). The book of Acts has four accounts of the Great Commission proceeds by the disciples and Paul. (Acts 2:38, 8:12, 10:48, 19:5) did not bother to discuss the sprinkling of water for baptism. Baptism has been and is still completely immersed in water.
Apparently, the disciples and Paul never baptized in the name of Yeshua! Not once did you used to record the words: "Father, Son and Holy Spirit. "Why? Were evil? Or did exactly what the Messiah commanded in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19)
Here is a quote I found in the Dictionary of the Bible Bible: "The original form of words was the name of Jesus Christ or the Lord Jesus. The baptism in the Holy Trinity is a "final" development ". So it was centuries later when the Trinitarian formula was introduced by baptism and ignored the Bible.
I have heard people say it is best to follow the prescribed words Lord, and do not use the words of his disciples (which errors) used. If the disciples used different words for what the Lord has been prescribed, then they were wrong! Dear friends, we have a big problem here! If the disciples and Paul were wrong, it would put the entire New Testament into question, because I writing!
I even heard someone say that (Pentecost) when Peter told him to repent and be baptized in the name of Yeshua, has wrong not to repeat the exact words given by the Lord in the Great Commission. If you simply look at the history (Acts 2:14) Peter rose with the eleven "(disciples). Matthew was there when Peter said what he said. There is no trace of one of the disciples to rebuke Peter for misrepresentation, even if all were present when the Lord gave the Great Commission.
