If the inmates are running the asylum we are in for some hard times. Webster's Collegiate Dictionary describes an Asylum as, "An institution for relief of the destitute or afflicted, esp. one for the insane." The inmates are those who are not in their right minds. When the insane make the rules for our institutions, we are in real trouble.

The inmates do not have to be institutionalized. They can be protected by corrupt laws. One such law would be the proposed "hate crimes" law that would make it a crime to say anything against the homosexual lifestyle. Such a law would give special rights to people who are really hurting. It would not allow anyone the right to help people leave this lifestyle. People with moral convictions would not be allowed to express themselves. This would place a huge limit on our rights to freedom of speech. It would treat the Bible's definition of homosexuality as being cruel and unfounded in facts. It would call an act "normal" that the Bible calls an abomination. It would put our social order at risk. Social reprobates would be allowed to persecute law abiding citizens. Such actions will bring God's judgment upon us.

Another group of inmates that are running the asylum are those who are doing abortions. We have made it "legal" to kill babies in the womb. This is totally unconstitutional. The Constitution protects innocent life. Those who commit crimes are punished. What crime has a little baby done? The least we could do is to put these little babies on trial. No, these little ones are ripped apart without even proving they deserve such treatment. It seems strange that we are wanting to save the whales, when we have such a big "whale" of a baby-killing crime on our hands. Apparently, the crazies are running the asylum again.

When do we stop these inmates? What used to be the land of the free and the brave, is quickly becoming a crazy house. We have trashed our babies, our morals, our Bibles, our Constitution and our country. We need to stop the inmates wherever we find them. When are we going to stop these inmates? If we want to save our nation, we had better stop them right now. It it just the love and mercy of the Lord that we are not destroyed already.

How do we stop the inmates from running the asylum? We quit letting them run us. We hold our governmental, school, business, church and family leaders to an accounting. We insist that they stay within the confines of our Constitution. We do not give them any support before they prove they are worthy of it. We take away all their power to control us, unless or until they prove they can use that power to protect our God-given rights.
