For anyone who believes that life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was a man hoax conspired by a group of disciples who leave their arrived. Check the truth of the Bible. About 54 AD, Philip, a disciple in the early years of Galileo, was scourged, imprisoned and crucified. Some six years later, Matthew the tax collector from Nazareth who wrote his gospel was preached in Ethiopia where he was martyred by the sword.

James, the brother of Jesus, including the burial box was found recently became the leader of the first church in Jerusalem and was the author of the Epistle by his name. At the age of 94 years, was beaten and stoned, and finally his brain had been beaten with a stick.

Matthias was the apostle who took Judas' place. He was stoned at Jerusalem and then beheaded.

Andrew was the brother of Peter who preached the Gospel throughout Asia. He was crucified on a cross, both ends were fixed in an X on the floor (that's where we get the word, the Holy Cross Andrew).

Mark was converted to Christianity by Peter, then transcribed account of Pedro de Jesus in his Gospel, was dragged to pieces by the people of Alexandria, Egypt in front of Serapis, their pagan idol.

Paul suffered in the first persecution of Nero. Paul's faith was so dramatic in the face of martyrdom, which the authorities they took him to a private place where he was beheaded with a sword.

In about 72 AD, Judas, the brother of James, who was commonly called Thaddeus, was crucified Edessa.

Bartholomew preached in several countries and translated the Gospel of Matthew into the language of India. Has been beaten and then crucified, y.

Thomas, called Didymus, preached the Gospel in Parthia and India, where he was pierced by a spear.

What is surprising, and why I'm too much detail here, persecution of Christians because they do not slow the growth of Christianity during the first centuries after Christ. Despite its early leaders died horrible, Christianity flourished in throughout the Roman Empire.

How can this historical record of martyrdom be viewed as more than just a spectacular manifestation of the truth absolute Christian faith - a faith like no other, which is based on historical events and stories?
