The Bible is a collection of sacred texts of the Christian religion. It is composed of the Old and New Testament.
The Old Testament As is recognized by Jews and Christians.
The New Testament comprises books recognized by the Christian church in the fourth century. The Bible Roman Catholic also includes the Apocrypha.
The first English translation of the Bible was by Miles Coverdale (a priest) in 1535. The authorized or King James Version followed in 1611.
Authorised Bible was revised in 1959 by the British and Foreign Bible Society. This was called Version Revised standard and has been widely used and very popular because of the simple form in writing. The language in the King James version, very beautiful and poetic it is sometimes difficult to understand, especially for children. Another study was conducted at the same time. This was to be known as the Bible in English. New Testament part of the English Bible appeared in 1961 and the Old Testament and the Apocrypha was published in 1970.
Since the publication of other Many of these translations have appeared on the market. Among them, the Living Bible, Good News Bible and the New International Version. The latter appeared in 1973 and revised in 1983.
Bibles choice today is very extensive and is largely a matter of personal choice. There are study Bibles, Bibles for children, bibles printed in large, Bibles Reference Bibles teenager, Bibles and devotional many others.
Members of the Task Force to assist with a variety of translations. often share readings and compare the text of them. We believe that by doing so, we get a better understanding and a better understanding of the passage under discussion. Preferences have different translations works well in our group. My preference at this stage is the Americas version, but I use other translations as well.

"Forty Days of Purpose" by Rick Warren Saddleback Bible Study Series. We looked at several studies scholar. I was involved both. "Under the Tree of Life" and "Remember who you are." These studies were excellent. We also studied two books by Philip Yancey "Soul Survivor" and "What is very surprising grace?" Both books were interesting stimulant study. Another book worth considering is "Pray we say goodbye" by Joyce Rupp.
We also conducted a series of studies on prayer intercession.
All these studies and many others used in recent years have stimulating conversations, introspection and a better understanding of Scripture.
Through this I gained strength that allowed me to better cope with situations through My faith is constantly difficult to grow as we share.
