Many of us worry about our daily lives from time to time. Some more than others. Concern to offer their next meal, find a new job, school, earn more money, etc. can be overwhelming for many. I am certainly guilty of too much concern in the past! But what God says to worry?
Philippians 4:06 Well said, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, make your requests to God.
Thus, God commands us not to worry or be anxious about anything in our lives, but in thanksgiving, make your needs known to Him! How many times have you or someone you know to pray, and not by God, but the wrath of God on their problems? I acknowledge that I have done many times in my past, and it is not surprising things do not improve not! It teaches us to trust Him and be thankful for what we have (at least that is), and he will listen and make our path straight.
More confirmation of the order of God not to worry, you can read in Matthew 6:25-34, "Therefore I say: Do not worry not your life, what you eat or drink, nor about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food and the body more than clothing? Behold the fowls of heaven, they do not sow or they reap, nor gather into barns, and your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? "
What amazing verse! This verse has changed my way of thinking on daily life. I try to give my concerns to God and be grateful for the blessings I have, instead of focusing on things not!
Thus, instead of worrying, we should pray, give our requests to God and trust him especially to do all the work at the end. The Lord always makes a difference! If you're reading this right now, praise the Lord, you're alive! What a blessing it is in itself:)
