There is much speculation in some Christian groups that the "antichrist" will be the end of time. However, the Antichrist as a real person is a myth - The term is not mentioned at all in the Apocalypse, and in fact only mentioned in 1 John 2 (twice) and 2 John (once). John uses the term in a general sense and provides that any person who denies that Jesus is the Messiah is an antichrist (the translation is correct "Anti-anointing") and wrote many antichrists (anti-anointing) are already in the world.
1 John 2:18:20 provides that the hearing John has heard that anti-anointing is given, but notes that, in fact, many anti-anointing have already taken place. John says it is an indication it is the last hour. John says that these people their left, but not theirs. Add the fact that the Left clearly indicates that none of them their own. A naked John holds clues to the readers of the letter: we know they are Christians who are well known to John. Some people have left the assembly (church). 1 John 3:07 warns people not to be duped, and a John 5:21 warns people to keep the idols.
In verse 22 of chapter one defines Antichrist John (real translation "anti-anointing) as someone who denies that Jesus is the Messiah. Asserts that person is anti-anointing, and who deny the Father and the Son.
The only mention of other "Antichrist" in the entire New Testament is 2 John 7. Note that no chapter number in John 2, because it has only one chapter, and only twelve verses. In general, it is considered that the 1 John 2 and John were written in the same time, c. 85-95 AD. The letter was sent to a church leader, an anonymous woman, and members of the Assembly. Holder of a circular argument stated that there may be a woman leader of the church, so this place was church. It is often mistranslated elect lady ", but that does not include the word Kuria," the Authority ", the feminine of" Lord " or "master".
In verse 7 John said that many of those who wander on the path we have in the world, and not agree that Jesus, the Messiah, is come in human form. "Please note that John speaks as if these people and all his time, and notes in general that any person who does not agree that Jesus came in human form is an anti-anointing (usually translated as "Antichrist" in most versions of the Bible).
At no time, John refer to an "Antichrist" (anti-anointing) as an individual or an apocalyptic figure. There seems to be some confusion among many contemporary Christians seem to have identified the "beast" of the Apocalypse with the term "Antichrist". Once again, the term "Antichrist" (anti-anointing) is never used in the New Testament to designate an individual. The term appears only in 1 and 2 and John does not appear in Revelation.
