One of the many gifts received from the Department sustained love of Robert Murray M'Cheyne is your daily Bible reading. The Lord sometimes led me to read all four parts of Scripture that are listed in the daily schedule, I personal Bible reading. Reading at least four chapters of Scripture per day, over time, proved to be a great source of spiritual encouragement. As Reverend Robert Murray M'Cheyne own words, written in San Pedro, Dundee, December 30, 1842:
"Above all, use your word as a lamp feet and light your way - your guide in doubt - the temptation Armor - food in times of weakness. Hear the cry of the great constant intercessor: "Sanctify through thy truth: Your word is truth. "
